Jeanelle G. Bronson

Ms. Bronson's impressive tenure with Grower Ketcham is matched only by her legal experience before her arrival at the Firm. She was born in Winter Park, attended Orange County Public schools, Rollins College where she graduated in 1970, with a B.A. in Social Sciences.  Thereafter, she attended the University of Florida's College of Law, graduating with high honors in 1978. Ms. Bronson served as a member of the University of Florida Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif (top 10 percent of class). She refined her legal talents as a law clerk/staff attorney to the Honorable John A. Reed, United States District Court, Middle District of Florida for two years, and later as an attorney and partner at Swann and Haddock, P.A.

Ms. Bronson has become the firm's go-to attorney in her major practice areas of municipal and governmental law. Ms. Bronson represents governmental entities in all types of litigation, including but not limited to premises liability, auto negligence, defense of police liability claims, medical negligence defense, correctional facility claims and civil rights claims.  She has also represented clients before various state administrative boards, including the Florida Ethics Commission and the Department of Business and Professional Regulation and the Department of Health. Her balanced experience representing multiple governmental agencies and municipalities in a wide range of claims against them makes her one of the firm's most experienced attorneys.

For over 15 years Ms. Bronson has served as the firm's "responsible attorney" in its representation of the Orange County Risk Management Program. In her 30 plus years of practicing law, she has provided representation for government agencies including but not limited to the Orange County, The Orange County School Board, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Marion, St Johns and Seminole County Sheriff's Offices and cities of Orlando, Kissimmee, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and Apopka. She is an AV® Preeminent 5.0 out of 5 rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.

Ms. Bronson's commitment to the Central Florida community is as important as her legal career. She currently serves on the Orange Center Elementary School PTA where she is the immediate past president. This is an inner-city school where 99 percent of the students receive free or reduced-price lunches due to their families' financial situations. She is a member at large and former board member of Leadership Florida and also a past president of the Christian Service Center. She has served on the University of Central Florida Foundation, the University of Florida Law Center Association Board of Trustees, the Orlando Science Center Board of Trustees and the Redistricting Advisory Committee and Charter Revision Committees for Orange County.  When not involved in the representation of clients or community service, Ms. Bronson spends her time with her husband of more than 36 years, her two daughters and is active in her church.
