Stacey J. Carlisle
Stacey Carlisle is an associate attorney with Grower Ketcham and practices primarily in the area of professional liability defense, with a focus on legal and accounting malpractice defense.  Since starting her practice with the firm, Stacey has worked on a number of complex matters venued throughout the State of Florida.  Beyond representing attorneys and accountants, Stacey also has represented trustees/fiduciaries, property managers, healthcare providers, and hospitals.  Stacey’s work has been instrumental in obtaining many favorable outcomes, including summary judgments in cases involving alleged damages well into the seven figures.  Stacey practices in both state and federal courts, and also represents individuals and companies in administrative actions, DBPR matters, and Florida Bar matters. 
 
Prior to joining the firm, Stacey graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, and Minors in Chemistry and Spanish.  Stacey continued on to receive her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.  During law school, Stacey was honored with a book award for her representation, as a certified legal intern, of juveniles in delinquency and dependency matters through the Virgil Hawkins Civil Clinic.  She also received awards of distinction in Legal Research & Writing and Appellate Advocacy.  In working to further hone her writing and editing skills, Stacey served as Student Works Editor for the Journal of Law & Public Policy.  The Journal recognized Stacey with the Hubert C. Hurst Award for Outstanding Case Comment, and published her work in the April 2009 edition.
